More from the Rivera

16 May

I’ve been in Cannes for 24 hours and so far so good. A couple of meetings in and I’ve had some interest in both projects so I guess I’ll just keep following the yellow brick road. There is a general depression in the film market with plenty of people looking to sell films but not so many people looking to buy.

As I’ve said previously if you can raise the money then right now is a perfect time to make films. There are plenty of people sitting on their hands looking for work and keen to get involved in the process. Box office statistics in Europe are on the increase in-spite of the recession. Less competition equals greater opportunity!
