Locked out

30 May

It’s amazing how such a small action can have such large consequences. For example… yesterday I walked out of my friends Hollywood apartment without making absolutely certain that I had the apartment keys in my hands. Unfortunately his housemate with the spare keys is currently in Florida… result we are both locked out of the apartment until midnight Sunday!

So I have one set of clothes, no laptop and a hell of a lot of apologizing to do. I guess I am been taught to live in the moment… there’s no going back and changing action… it is done, it has been written, it cannot be changed. Regret can be a pointless endeavor and to wallow in it is like chewing a piece of gum that has lost all it’s flavor.

There seems little point wishing you had been dealt a different hand, you got to play with the cards you’ve been given.
