Speed is the curse of our time. If a humble farmer from the early 1900’s hopped in a car on our freeways he would tremble in fear. We move an amazing pace and all this rushing transfers into other areas in our lives, we are caught up in a frenetic impatience that is killing our creativity. Speed is relative to the observer and everyone is moving so fast that no one noticed the acceleration.
Life is a series of divine moments; a truly great actor knows that to master the scene he must slow down, listen to his impulses and savor every moment. The only way to slow down is to relax and the only way to relax is to slow down. Did you smell the flowers outside your window this morning, did you hear the birds in the trees, did you see the look of disappointment in your lovers eye?
