Patience versus Impatience

4 Jan

Patience is essential… impatience is also good. We need to be patient and impatient simultaneously if we are going to grow anything substantial.

Impatience provides us with momentum, it causes us to ask questions, it drives us forward. But impatience on its lonesome will leave us in a constant state of flux and cynicism. While impatience can be a catalyst for change and growth… patience and perseverance sustain such growth and keep us moving forwards while we fail.

Grace with ourselves and others, in this crazy journey called life is essential because to succeed we MUST fail over and over again. Do not fear the humbling that results from such failure is good for our souls.
