When I have a creative problem that is difficult to solve… I need to ask the right questions, the difficult questions that I do not wish to ask myself…
I have a tendency to go over what I know rather than look at what I don’t know. Learning is always a journey into the unknown, and it always begins with the humble position of ignorance.
If you want to increase your rate of learning, you need to put yourself into the “uncertain space” of not knowing what you are reading, creating or discussing. It’s painful to possibly appear stupid, but there really is no such thing as a dumb question, only a dumb mouth that refuses to question.
When, where, why, how, who are the five fundamental questions we need to keep asking if we want to keep on learning and living. To learn is to stay young, to stop learning is to die.
