Pancreatitis in 7 Sentences

25 Jan

For those of my readers wondering why Seven Sentences went into hibernation for the last ten days, rest assured I am back and ready to blog again. Just under two weeks ago, I was struck down with a particularly nasty bout of pancreatitis and hospitalized for four days. I am back to full health now, although they still have no idea what bought the episode on.

It was strange at 6:30pm I cooked dinner and was healthy as I had ever been, and then less than an hour later I could hardly ever walk, such was the intensity of the abdominal pain. We are not in control of our own lives, less we be deceived.

What matters is not control, for controlling your own life, involves only surrendering your will when you chose, which is really not surrendering at all. Life is better when we abandon ourselves to something far greater than ourselves.
